Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda is a 2014 Telugu comedy drama film featuring an ensemble cast composed of Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj, Raveena Tandon, Hansika Motwani, Pranitha Subhash, Varun Sandesh and Tanish in the lead roles.^[3][4][5] Presented by Ariaana and Viviana, Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj are jointly producing the film on their respective banners, 24 Frames Factory and Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Kona Venkat, Gopimohan and BVS Ravi wrote the film's screenplay with Palani Kumar handling cinematography.^[6]

The film is partly inspired by the Hindi movie Golmaal 3. This movie and Golmaal 3 have many similarities such as story and direction, many reviewers said "It's imprinted Golmaal 3 and it's an unofficial remake".^[7] The movie also marks the return of Mohan Babu on film after a long self-imposed hiatus, sharing the screen with both his sons Vishnu and Manoj for the first time. Raveena Tandon also returned to Telugu cinema after a long hiatus with this film. The soundtrack and music on the film was composed by Bappa Lahiri and Achu. Released worldwide on 31 January 2014, the film featured Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Vennela Kishore, M. S. Narayana in other pivotal roles. Upon release, the film received positive reception from critics as well as audience and turned out into a blockbuster at both the Indian and overseas box offices.^[8] The film was dubbed into Hindi as Sabse Badi Hera Pheri 3 by Goldmines Telefilms in 2017.

Box office

Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda (PPT), released across the globe on 21 January, has concluded the first week with a brilliant collection at the worldwide Box Office. While it landed in second place in the domestic market, the movie with high entertainment quotient has led the race in the international market, pushing Puri Jagannadh's Heart Attack to second position.Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda opened to very good response in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India on Friday. The positive reviews and good word of mouth took its business over the weekend. Its collection went down by 50% on Monday and it continued to drop on the following weekdays. When compared to multiplexes, the movie has done good business in the single screens. The film has raked in approximately ₹ 11.50 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first week.The action comedy family entertainer, which was released in North America, Europe, UK, Dubai, Kuwait, and Africa, also got good opening in the international market and has done decent business in the first week. Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda has collection approximately ₹ 1.06 crores nett ($1,70,000) at the Overseas Box Office in seven days. Its first week global collection stands at ₹ 12.56 crores nett.^[13]
Irrespective of the heroes market Manchu family multi-starrer Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda was made at a whopping budget of ₹ 30 crores. Although the movie got a good talk it could not make business to cover the production cost and ends as an average grosser.
The movie reportedly ends with deficit of ₹ 10 crores. But thanks to MAA Channel’s generosity, they bought the satellite rights of the movie for good price to bail out the movie.
As per the buzz MAA TV channel has grabbed the rights for a whopping ₹4.25 crore (US$660,000) which is superb compared to its box office stamina and this would be the highest for any Manchu star film.
The movie features Mohan Babu, Vishnu, Manoj, Varun Sandesh, Hansika, Pranitha and Tanish in the lead. Mohan Babu himself has produced the film under 24 Frames Entertainment.Manchu Manoj lady getup, few hilarious scenes in second half, Supreet (Kaatraju) filthy comedy, Pranitha Subhash, Hansika Motwani glamour are major highlights of the movie.Manchu’s need to thank MAA TV for its generosity.^[2]
